Detroit Community Markets

Fresh fruits and veggies coming to a street near you

Detroit Community Markets increase access to healthy foods, improve neighborhoods, support local growers, and create public spaces where residents can come together.

Farmers markets, mobile food distributors and food box programs all work as partners to bring healthy, affordable food to Detroit residents. With 15 locations throughout Detroit, it's easy to find a nearby market where you can stock up on fresh seasonal produce.

It's easy to pay, too. Most Detroit Community Markets accept Bridge Cards and Double Up Food Bucks.

For other locations to access fresh, healthy food, visit Eastern Market Farm Stands.

Eastern Market Farm Stand

To extend our reach to people who lack transportation or the ability to get to our daily markets, we bring Eastern Market to them. We set up community food stands throughout the Detroit area all summer long.

Detroit Kitchen Connect

Do you have a food business you'd like to get off the ground? We've created a partnership with Food Lab Detroit to offer kitchen space, technical assistance and workshops to help you get there.
